My name is Adrian Cooper and I have started a new business aimed at providing a very personal and professional snagging inspection service to homeowners who are purchasing or have recently purchased a brand new home in the Norfolk area. Having been in the construction industry for 43 years with the last 20 commanding Senior Management positions, one element of this role was to snag projects which in most cases were multi-million-pound projects for highly respected clients.
In that time I have picked up many Craftsmanship Awards in my career, and having come from a carpentry and joinery background I have an extremely keen eye for detail which makes me perfect for this role.
I have also been a judge for the 2017 Norfolk Association of Architects Design & Craftsmanship Awards.
The service I offer is a fully detailed photographic inspection of the external & internal elements of your home including roofing, paving, fencing, walls etc. Internally I will inspect all rooms paying particular attention to kitchens and bathrooms, in addition inspecting the roof space and integrated or detached garage should there be any.
The best time to have an inspection carried out on your new property is just prior to you moving in, however, this can sometimes be difficult as the builders will not always permit this. Failing this I recommend as soon as possible after taking possession, you do however have a two year statutory warranty period in which to identify any snags and have them rectified by the builder. It is always better, in my opinion, to have the work carried out whilst the builder is still on site. This report can be sent directly to your builder or to you for you to then pass on to your builder.
